Duafe earring Carnelian/ Citrine/ Peridot
We have taken seven of our favourite Adinkra symbols of the Akan people of Ghana and applied these motifs to a collection of hand pierced brass earrings, embellished with dazzling precious, semi precious gems, beads and pearl. These are show stoppers! no two pairs alike.
Adinkra is a visual language of motifs which have aphorisms and concepts that the Akan people apply to their lives. These symbols can be seen in Pottery, textile print and architectural features.
Duafe is a wooden comb. The comb symbolises self love and care. This pair of earrings feature carnelian, peridot, citrines, 11 cm long. Sterling silver hooks, gold tone finish.
